Calling for stimulus, Democrats cite 'real cliff' if jobless benefits aren't extended

Just a day before the Labor Department releases the unemployment numbers for November, Democratic senators said Thursday that the economy is still weak enough that it needs more federal stimulus spending as part of any year-ending fiscal deal with Republicans.
